As an Enterprise Architect, you help organizations translate their strategic goals into a clear and executable design of processes, information, applications, and technology. You analyze how an organization works, where it wants to go, and which changes are needed to get there.
You build future-oriented architectures, from capability maps and value streams to operating models and reference architectures, that guide transformation. You ensure that processes, data, systems, and technology logically connect, and you support clients in making well-considered decisions. In this way, you create the structure and clarity needed to turn strategy into achievable reality.

What does your day look like as an Enterprise Architect?
- Together with a Strategic Architect, you facilitate strategic sessions with business and IT stakeholders to clarify needs, dependencies, and pain points.
- You develop value streams, capability maps, and target architectures that guide strategic trajectories.
- You translate strategic decisions into enterprise architecture, concrete requirements, designs, and scenarios.
- You define approaches and budget estimates together with ACOMPANY’s founder.
- You conduct maturity assessments in processes, applications, data, technology, and security.
- You define target operating models and reference architectures (functional, data, application, IT).
- You present proposals and scenarios to the client and help them make well-founded decisions.
- You align with project and program managers to translate the roadmap into a feasible implementation.
- You deliver quality reviews on architecture proposals from vendors and safeguard coherence with the enterprise architecture.
- You analyze the impact of changes and ensure that decisions contribute to the client’s strategic goals.
Where you make the difference
Your experience
- You have deep knowledge of organizational and governance structures.
- You have experience with business architecture, enterprise architecture, and/or solution architecture.
- You are familiar with EA frameworks.
- You have strong business knowledge of IT environments and understand the connections between processes, data, applications, and technology.
- You have experience in consulting or complex client environments.
- You hold a master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Your skills
- You move easily between strategic and operational levels.
- You are analytically strong and can clearly structure complex problems.
- You communicate in an understandable way to both business and IT.
- You dare to make well-founded recommendations and challenge stakeholders.
- You are pragmatic, hands-on, and focused on value creation.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English.
