Co-creation & implementation of a toolbox for Business Analysts

Telenet Group is the largest provider of broadband cable services in Belgium and in full transformation. The Internet of things is one of the focus points in their customer & digital-first focus. For this, the team of business analysts needed repositioning of the internal structure, a clear definition of their added value in the organization, alignment of junior vs. senior profiles, role descriptions, methodologies, and tools.

Interviews

To obtain a good view of the current way of working, the focus points, and the challenges, we started by conducting interviews with the management and team members. Afterward, we observed them, and we used the outcomes of an existing survey. The aim was to get an overview of the roles and different personalities within the team, formulate an efficient general approach, and increase engagement.

“ACOMPANY guided us in the co-creation and implementation of a toolbox for Business and Process Analysts who work on big business projects.”

Balanced Scorecard

Starting from the problem statement we co-created, we defined a vision based on the balanced scorecard success factors. This led to a process definition of the different projects and a toolbox with specific deliverables.

“Because of this toolbox, which can be adjusted to each project context (agile, digital, waterfall, hybrid,…), we can work in a more efficient and adaptive way.”

Coaching & training

To land the project, a two-day team workshop was organized where the outcome of the pre-work was presented, and there was room for open discussion to reach a consensus. Team members were individually coached and trained afterward.

Frequently asked questions about digital transformation

How does ACOMPANY approach digital transformation projects with clients?

ACOMPANY follows a structured approach that starts with a thorough business analysis and evolves into strategy, roadmap, and implementation. From the very beginning, business and IT are aligned to ensure that projects not only work technically, but also create real value for the organization.

The cases show how ACOMPANY applies a range of services, from strategic guidance and enterprise architecture to implementation and change management. Depending on the client’s needs, this can be an end-to-end engagement or a targeted use of specific expertise, always with attention to the bigger picture.

Every collaboration starts from the same foundations, but is adapted to the client’s specific context. Based on the business analysis and strategic choices, the necessary steps are defined and the services with the greatest impact in that environment are selected.

ACOMPANY supports organizations not only in strategy and architecture, but also in execution. Through program and project management, change management, and hands-on support, we ensure that plans are translated into concrete results and that projects stay on track.

A key part of the approach is creating alignment between business objectives and IT solutions. Through enterprise architecture and solution design, it becomes clear how processes, systems, and technology work together to create value and support future changes.

In practice, clients often combine multiple services, such as strategy formulation, enterprise architecture, roadmap development, and change management. This combination ensures that both the direction and execution of digital transformation are well aligned.

Yes. While ACOMPANY offers an end-to-end approach, organizations can also rely on specific services, such as developing a roadmap, guiding an RFP process, or supporting a change initiative. In all cases, we maintain a clear view of the broader organizational context.

ACOMPANY operates in a vendor-neutral way and focuses on value creation rather than technology alone. By taking a holistic approach that considers processes, technology, and people together, we deliver sustainable solutions that align with both the strategy and the reality of the organization.
